Depression

It knocked and it called. It brought along friends. Fear and doubt. As I acknowledged their presence in the front door I said, “No thank you, not today”.

Then I took the time to wonder whyyyy did it bother to swing by?

Ok, yes I’m not where I could be. The yard is mega muddy and there’s poop everywhere. But it’s been raining, that’s what happens when it rains. Okay, it looks like it might rain again.
“That’s ok” I said to myself. “Let it rain”.

“Just wear the shoes for the storm. And you’ll be okay”.

Do the best you can with what you have. And have fun a long the way. I got poop on my face and I giggled instead of getting mad. “Poopoo head”! Lol

No stink think! Then I repeated to myself “I am happy. I am a ray of sunshine, everywhere I go”.

And it worked! I started my workout and got out of my head and had a blast!
I’m trying to tell you, how important self talk is. There will be days when the self talk won’t talk loud enough. They’ll be times when we refuse to shift the thoughts. This is the fight I’m talking about. You caaaan make that shift. You can fight a great fight. Stay in your fight. Let’s continue to laugh when we get poop in our face😅

Its not a perfect world. Nor will you always have the perfect thoughts. Acknowledge the ones knocking. And dismiss them accordingly.

Human, I love you ❤️

Namaste, xoxo
